Liz Yourkievitz

Liz believes effective communication is the cornerstone of success in life and leadership.  Helping others develop their personal and professional communication skills and realize their full potential as individuals and leaders is the passion that drives her.

This passion was ignited early in her undergraduate education in Organizational Development and was stoked throughout her leadership journey in the field of Human Resources & Talent Management.  An experienced and innovative senior leader, Liz has brought her commitment to excellence, collaborative approach and outcomes-based mindset to a wide variety of activities over her career.   Her industry experience includes multiple non-profit agencies, higher education, government defense contracting, and technical scientific and information technology organizations. She specializes in facilitation and training related to performance management, leadership development, and team dynamics.

Liz holds nationally accredited certifications in human resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP), performance improvement (HPI) and is a qualified MBTI practitioner.  As one of the original beta-test participants for the CODA Connected framework, Liz has a unique insight into the foundation of Connected Communications, Connected Leadership & Connected Teams.  Liz has worked with the CODA team since 2004 and became a Core Consulting Partner in 2016.  

She has served as a team dynamics facilitator and executive coach with the University of Tampa’s MBA program for over twenty years. In addition, she continues to apply her experience and knowledge as a strategic HR partner and Operations Director with the National Forensic Science Technology Center at Florida International University.
