Training
Professional training is a central activity of CODA Partners, Inc.’s practice. We are committed to the design, development and delivery of the training experience to ensure sustained learning and a measurable return on investment. Unlike many training experiences where the participant leaves the event, puts the training manual on a shelf, and promptly forgets some or most of the content and techniques, CODA designs post-training activities to keep the learning fresh, encourage its application, and foster retention long after the learning opportunity has passed. Through customized communication sent out routinely after the training event, post-session assignments (such as structured conversations with supervisors and coaches), supplemental articles and podcasts, and periodic “refresher” video conferencing-the goal of learning receives sustained emphasis. And this sustained emphasis is directly correlated with long-term retention of the training content and application of the techniques in the business setting.
Unlike many of the larger leadership and organizational development firms, CODA’s does not use boilerplate content. We fully customize every lesson plan, activity, case study and simulation to be specific to the client’s needs and consistent with the operations, vocabulary, culture, and challenges of the industry that the client represents.
